Apologies
for the unavoidable delay in arranging a further meeting. However, it’s that time of year again –
the AGM is upon us.
Unfortunately,
in spite of hearing about bag snatches, etc., by word of mouth, very few written
reports have been received by the main co-ordinator for onward transmission to
the Police, and attendance at the last couple of meetings has been very
disappointing.
For
your advance information, Jan, Denise and Kath will be standing down from the
committee; nominations are therefore invited for the positions of chairperson,
main co-ordinator and secretary for the forthcoming year. We will still be happy to offer advice
and help if required. Peter Burling
and Rob Jackson have already resigned and additional
volunteers are desperately needed as street co-ordinators.
We propose to hold the AGM at
the community centre at 18.30 hrs. on Thursday, 28
October 2004.

We
hope that as many people as possible will come to the AGM, and that the NHW
will continue for the foreseeable future.
