 A.       Approval of Minutes

Jan opened the meeting, thanked all for attending.

We are sad to say that Jan Emsley is leaving our group.   Thank you for the work that you have done for us, and we wish you all the best.

We also welcome on board two new members, Josie Jones and Rob Hughes.

B.      Crime in Dream Hills.

1.      No reported crime as such, one suspicious gentleman selling electrical goods door to door.

2.   Youths arrested from Dream Hills 2 could have been part of group that caused mischief and mayhem at times on Dream Hills 1 though not proved.    They have been arrested for criminal damage (18.05.09)    .

3.   26.05.09   Bogus Gas Men  on urbanisation.  

      Please remember and be aware they look legal.    But your gas company will inform you by letter and phone call if they are going to call for service etc.  

  Do not let these men in.   Jan called all coordinators to inform the owners and renters etc. where possible of these men.   Also the Police Local were called and attended in seven minutes.  Guardia Civil also involved and asked to be informed in future as soon as possible when and if these men are sited again.

C.         Any Other Business

CCTV  use of.

1.      Only legal if on private ground/area.

2.      If pointed at any public area i.e. pavement, it is illegal.

3.      CCTV needs permits from Valencia and AGM approval needed for cameras in the urbanisation

Please use this as emergency contact and not AA as the AA status has not been credited yet.

We have had reports of persons receiving telephone calls purporting to be from     representatives of well known service providers such as Telefonica and Electricity suppliers. They all have plausible reasons for making the call such as a change of supplier, better offers or security checks. To be able to complete what they offer they always ask for personal and Bank Account details. This is the time to put the phone down   all reputable Service companies never ask for such details over the phone. Never give anyone you do not know or are not sure of any personal or Bank details.
