Approval of Minutes

Jan opened the meeting and thanked all for attending.

A.        Crime in Dream Hills:  

            2 House Break-ins

            4 Thefts of Garden Furniture

B.        Crime on the Orihuela Costa:

It has been noted through the statistics that are given monthly, that there has been a lot of crime recorded over the Costa as a whole.    More so on urbanisations that do not have any form of security.

Theft of garden furniture is very prevalent at the moment around the whole of the Costa’s.    This is not just new furniture, old as well.   Also solar lights are being targeted.   We the Neighbourhood Watch cannot understand the reason for this, we can only advice you as before to secure what you can or take it in at night.

C.       Current Business: 

Please be aware that we have the bogus Gas men on the rounds once again.   Do not let them into your home or hand over any money.   If in doubt ring the gas supplier to check on their authenticity.

Once again, as above, we have a report of garden furniture been taken.   Please be aware that this does happen, and try to secure what you can.

Distraction crimes in Supermarkets are still ongoing.  Pleas be aware and alert to any thing that does not feel right to you.

We have to announce that Mike Duncan will no longer be part of our group.  He will be returning to the U.K.   We, the group wish to thank him for the help and support that he has given us, and wish him and his family all the best for the future.
