DREAM HILLS – VECINOS COLABORANDO (NHW)
Meeting held at La Casita on Thursday, 14 September 2006, at 18.00 hrs.

Denise opened the meeting and thanked everyone for attending. Minutes of the previous meeting were agreed.

Robbery by force. Male customer at Paddock Bar held knife to bar assistant’s throat and stole takings. |

Suspicious persons seen walking around houses at the top of the urbanization. 3 Fair haired men under 30 all tall and thin. |

House robbery carried out using fishing rod tactics at 475 to catch handbag on lounge table. |

Suspicious persons seen checking doors and grills. 3 North African looking males drove off when approached in Silver VW Passat. |

Suspicious car with occupants using threatening behaviour to residents at 679. 3 Moroccan looking males walking between houses. When their car number was written down they snatched the notepad from the resident. They were later seen trying to cover their number plate with a blanket. |

Opportunist thief at Dream Hills 305. Indian looking male walked into house and stole wallet and phone. The thief was seen knocking on doors of other houses. |
Although ‘welcome packs’ were initially distributed to new residents in the
houses and bungalows no more had been handed out. Stefan has been made aware
that some new residents have not received any packs.
Until a Co-Ordinator for this area is selected all reports should be passed to 568
Vehicles that have been observed driving through our urbanization at speeds considered to be over the legal limit have had their registration numbers recorded. Prior to any police involvement we have approached our President, and he has agreed to speak with the Town Hall.
The following reports were received from Orihuela Costa area:
1. Night time car theft at Torrevieja. Red BMW 730 one rear wheel arch trim missing, seen with false plates.
2. Suspect vehicle near Consum, white Renault Clio seen to follow hire car very closely.
3. Suspect vehicle, Villa Martin area. Black Mercedes, 2 Spanish males seen on balconies at night.
4. Garden pots and ornament thefts around Villa Piedra area of La Regia.
5. Suspicious parking assistants tried to wave car into parking space although there was plenty of room for parking. This was at night, no street lighting, on N332 road to port just before Skoda sales centre.
6. Garden pot thefts by middle aged man driving black Astra. Seen at Punta Prima market selling them on.
7. Suspicious car, silver Ford Focus, 2 Spanish / Moroccan men seen entering gardens in Los Dolses.
8. A ‘Thank you’ from resident at Bosque de las Lomas, Villa Martin who had their handbag returned by our group.
9. House owners followed home from the airport and robbed within 10 minutes of arrival.
10. Suspicious vehicle, silver Peugeot 206 with 2 dark skinned persons seen entering gardens in Villa Martin area.
11. Followed from the airport - Zodiaco 4, Villa Martin. Within 30 minutes someone entered (unseen) and took handbag.
12. Followed from the airport - Al Andalus 2, La Florida. Family left all luggage inside, went for a meal, on return all belongings gone, grill and door had been jemmied.
