DREAM HILLS – VECINOS COLABORANDO (NHW)
Meeting held at La Casita on Thursday, 7 December 2006, at 14.00 hrs.

Street Co-ordinators - Bob Harris, Colin Bingham, Doug Hunt.

Denise opened the meeting and thanked everyone for attending. Minutes of the previous meeting were agreed.
Six reports had been received since the last meeting, as follows:

Attempted Bag Snatch at 13.30 at Via Park V. Two well dressed young Spanish men aged 23ish got away in a light blue metallic car. |

Vehicle break-in at 15.30 outside La Zenia Hotel. On return from inside hotel residents of Dream Hills found front tyre flat and driver’s door lock damaged, car documents and house keys missing. |

House Robbery at 15.45 at Dream Hills 568. Thieves used keys taken from vehicle parked outside La Zenia Hotel 15 mins earlier. On entering through front door alarm sounded and thieves stole only what was immediately available. |

Observation at 14.00 – 15.00 behind Apartment 641. Two young Spanish males climbing over galleria. Rode off on bicycle towards Los Balcones. |

House Break-In at 03.00 - 04.00 at Apartment 772. Thieves entered through Patio Doors and stole TV, Video etc. Owners at home in Norway. Builder was able to contact owners and secure property. |

Observation at 11.00 at Dream Hills 568. Spanish speaking male, 50ish, entered through front door and stated the water would be turned off at 06.00 tomorrow. It is believed the man assumed owners were upstairs. When the owner asked for further explanation and ID the man made off with younger male. |
The following reports were received from Orihuela Costa area:
1. Postal Scam – A card is posted through your door saying a parcel could not be delivered, please ring this number, which is a premium line with a recorded message costing you £15 or £20. In the UK at the moment but no doubt it will get here soon.
2. Intruder – Well dressed North African about 30 walked into house, when occupant seen went away.
3. Suffolk Police looking for man named Spearing, Speary or Sperritt. Thought to be on Costa Blanca.
4. Attempted Handbag snatch at 15.45 in new Aldi car park at Golf Campoamor. Silver car.
5. Suspicious silver car in Los Ramblas Golf area. 3 North Africans.
6. Suspect Vehicle – old silver Orion or Renault seen in La Zenia area. 3 North Africans inside.
7. Garden Ornaments are again being reported missing in Orihuela Costa area, possibly being sold on at Car Boot sales and markets.
8. Bag Snatch from a woman in an office at Eagles Nest, thieves made off in a waiting car, possible suspects previously seen in small silver Peugeot.
9. Distraction Theft at Mercadona Playa Flamenca car park. While victim was approached by young girl asking directions purse was stolen from inside car. No other person seen. Girl 16 – 18 5’3” with white jumper with ITALY on back.
10. Bag Snatch at La Zenia after victim had just drawn 750 Euros from bank. Thieves drove off in old blue car.
11. Car Stolen from Blue Hills, Silver blue Jaguar XJ6 right hand drive. Reg No. G 71 GCW. Thief had heavy tattoo on left arm.
