WHY
Archena and Fortuna are two natural spas, to be found abot 45 mile sinland from Dream Hills.
The mineral rich waters which flow from underground springs at 50 deg C are said to have curative powers for a variety of ailments, including arthritic disorders and rheumatic illnesses

The Spa complex at Archena is a hotel and the majority of participants are residents who wander around in dressing gowns.
The Spa is also open to day visitors
WHERE
You need to travel south on the E15 road towards Murcia. This road can by accessed by travelling North towards Elche, on the A37 Autopiste and then turning South when you join the E15. The most direct route is to go to Orihuela and follow the signs to Murcia, joining the E15 just before Murcia
Total distance to Archena going via Orihuela will be 40-45 miles. Using the A37 Autopiste probably nearer 60-65 miles
As you approach Murcia on the E15, turn to the right and travel inland on the A30 Madrid/Albacete motorway.
About 10 miles after this junction you will see Archena well signposted, off to the left. The town is then about 2.5 miles from the A30. As you enter Archena follow the brown road signs - 'Balneario (de Archena)'
The turn off to Fortuna is to the right of the A30. It is also well signposted, but is about 8 miles from the A30
