Briefing on Praetorian Security Guards
Two security guards patrol the urbanisation four nights each week; they patrol for 10hrs per night and are available for emergency call-out on the other three nights. The shifts for two nights are varied each week. The guards patrol both individually and in pairs, by foot and by vehicle. They can be contacted at any time using the emergency telephone number provided in your information pack and will respond to every household alarm bell.
Each evening they are briefed by either the president or a vice president. The guards provide a detailed daily report for each ten-hour shift. A monthly abridged report is also provided by the Praetorian security company, copies of which are distributed to the committee and a copy is also sent to the secretary of the Dream Hills Neighbourhood Watch group.
Confidential details of the guard’s response to attempted suicides, domestic violence etc., are not distributed.
The security guards were also requested by 29 owners to ‘keep an eye’ on their properties during the Christmas holiday period. The guards have assisted with the removal of the drug dealers from operating in the car park area of Via Park V.
