Matters Arising

  1. Minutes of meetings 31st May & 04th June approved.
  1. Review of Presidents Surgery. Owners who came to the last surgery all had private problems with their properties
  1. Review of Pool Maintenance & Gardening Contracts. Three estimates from new companies received however all are more expensive than the current contract. Unanimous vote to maintain the current contracts for both. Positive feedback from residents with many compliments on how nice the pools areas are. Further feedback advises that some residents are giving their pool card to other residents who are not able to get access to the pools due to unpaid fees and non-residents of the urbanisation. It must be brought to every residents attention that it is the card owners responsibility as to what happens in the pool areas when access is gained with their pool card.
  1. Review of Pool Attendants. Feedback and comments regarding the two new pool attendants are positive that they are doing a good job. Certain items such as a new exploding ball game have been prohibited as once they explode into little pieces in the pool, it clogs up the filter which can break the motor causing the pools to be closed and a hefty repair bill.
  1. Review of Pool Card Technician. Pedro, the card technician, came to the Casita and resolved any issues people had with their cards.
  1. Review of Street Cleaning Contract. At the AGM it was voted for to keep the current contract in place.
  1. Review of Security Guards. The new company, Praetorian Guard, have started on the urbanisation and initial feedback is positive. A number of signs have been placed around the urbanisation that the area is now being patrolled by them. They are also working closely with Neighbourhood Watch.
  1. Information Pack – progress and feedback. The pack is being distributed to each household by members of the committee. There is an insert page for each householder to complete and return to their area representative who will then pass it onto the Administrator in order to update their records correctly.
  1. Community Representation for the houses and bungalows has been revised as follows. Please make the changes in the Information Pack accordingly:-

Mags Harris            267-275 / 317-407
John Sinclair           212-266 / 276-316
Jan Rennison          93-211
John Kerr                408-518
Tid Clifford              58-92 / 589-602 / 519-588
Jenny McCadden   813-886 / 1-57
Lowri Mittchell         605-812

  1. Cockroach spraying has been done but Maribel to contact the Town Hall to return and retighten some of the man-hole covers.
  1. La Casita Liaison. John Kerr, Vice-President, will liaise between the committee and Majory & Richard Harris.
  1. Council works to ´green areas´. As part of the handover, the Council are working on the green areas, cleaning and planting trees. It is an ongoing procedure which will take several months.

Any Other Business:

Maribel is to speak with Ana Rosa in order to contact the Administrators of Residencial Inspiracion regarding the parking along the street between the bungalows and their urbanisation. This will be followed up at the next meeting.

Maribel to price the cost of replacement doors for the post boxes and Ana Rosa to speak to the Post Office regarding holding the keys for them.

A unanimous decision was taken against placing a sign for dogs to be on a lead. This is because it is the Law in Spain that a dog should be on a lead and that there are already signs regarding this in the urbanisation.

A tree in the pool area was suspected of being dead is not and is being treated.

The Administrators are to approach the Town Hall regarding the possibility to erect a roundabout and re-paint the road markings by the map at the bottom of Dream Hills.

There are some complaints that the street lights are not working correctly. If any resident sees that the lights are off when they should be on, they are to contact their committee representative immediately

Meeting ended at 14.35.
