Stefan welcomed Jan and confirmed that NHW are welcome to use the Community Centre for their meetings.  A substantial, lockable cupboard is required and Jan agreed to the use of NHW funds to purchase this cupboard.

Roger suggested that a simplified list of rules be published and distributed, particularly for use in houses let to holiday makers, to include a warning regarding crime and the need for vigilance and security.  Kath undertook this task (and will liaise with Roger on it’s content) together a petition regarding lack of police presence/security on the urbanization.

Following the recent rainy spell, many houses are suffering from damp and water damage.  Roger produced a page printed from the Dream Hills Web Site where a resident asked whether a co-ordinated request could be sent to Torrevisa from the Committee, on behalf of residents, regarding these problems.  However, the Committee as a whole considered that these are personal problems, to be dealt with individually.   The Committee is not responsible for dealing with personal aggravations (disputes between neighbours, for example) and individuals must take responsibility for their own problems.

Stefan has received quotes for the gate and fence for the Via Park III problem area, and he will talk with the Presidents of VPIII and Villas del Duque regarding the cost of the fence after which a further meeting will be called with the Dream Hills residents in that area.

Mick will be resigning from the committee at the AGM.

We have now been allocated a postman for our urbanization, although no-one seems certain when our first delivery will be.  However, it should be in the very near future so please ensure that your postboxes are cleared of all the junk mail spilling from them at the moment.  NB:  Additional Mail Boxes l, 2, 3 and 4 sited between boxes 500 and 600 are for wrongly delivered mail.  The postman will have the keys to these and any mail delivered into your box by mistake should be put into these boxes.

The use of the Community Centre was discussed and it was decided that only Community activities, (bridge club, dominoes, chess) would be allowed – non-profit making community activities only.

There is a ‘Costa Azul’ bus which runs from Via Park III or Consum to and from the local beaches at a cost of 1 Euro.

Invitations to the AGM have been produced and distributed by hand to permanent residents.  The remainder have been mailed.  These contain the financial report and directions to the venue - Restaurante Punta Prima – on Wednesday, 26 May 2004 at 16.00 hrs.  Space is limited and it would be appreciated if only one person per household attend, and in any case only persons named on the Title Deed (or their representative).
