Stefan now has the keys to the pool. 8 benches and 8 rafia-type sun shades (4 for each pool area) are on order and only one gate to the double-gated pool area will have the switch card opening facility for the present time. The other will be installed when the urbanisation is complete. Two life belts will be ordered for the pool areas, also 4 rubbish bins for each area. The pools will be opened on 1st June, provided insurance is in place by this date. |

Torrevisa have promised to construct a club house with kitchen, toilets, etc., and also concrete planters for the pedestrian areas, at their own expense. As soon as we have Orihuela Council’s decision on which pieces of land/green areas they are prepared to give us, a decision can be taken on where to build the club house - preferably as near to the pools as possible in view of the absence of toilet facilities in these areas. Stefan has a meeting next week with Rosa (from the City Hall) and the Chairman of the Torrevisa working group and this will be discussed. This is the largest urbanization which Torrevisa have built and they want it to be a success and a show-piece. |

3. |
Letters from Ana Rosa (Administrator) will be prepared by early next week and committee members will distribute to permanent owners, the others being sent by post. The letters contain details of the Community Meeting at the Torrejoven Hotel, the decisions taken there and direct debit forms for community fees, these to be collected by committee members by Wednesday/Thursday and the batches returned to Stefan for passing en bloc to Ana Rosa. |
|
4. |
Committee members to request thoughts from the community for Rules and Regulations and also for use of the green areas, ie: sporting area. There will not be a designated ‘dog walking park’ and one important community rule must be that owners clear up any mess deposited by their animals, wherever that may be. All major points must be voted on by the entire community and must receive at least 50% majority to be carried. These points will be put in writing and must be signed and returned, stating yes or no to the suggestions. |
|
5. |
Chains will be ordered for the entrances to all private roads. |
|
6. |
The committee members walked the urbanisation and Stefan agreed to take up one or two points of concern with relevant parties. |
|
7. |
Bill pointed out that clarification is required in respect of the land adjacent to the walkway from the top of the estate. If we do get this area, making sure that it is planted and looks good can only help to increase the value of our properties, as will provision of sports/play areas. |
Next meeting at No.217 - date to be advised.
