Present:                                Stefan, Mags, Carol, John, Bill, Roger, Mick, (Kath – secretarial).

1.

Problems experienced with street lighting in 5 or 6 streets – experienced by and reported to Roger.

Stefan has addressed the problem with Iberdrola and the electrical maintenance company. We now have keys to the junction box and should be able to correct the problem as and when it happens in the future. These streets were not being cleaned, but Stefan has spoken the cleaner and hopefully there will no further cause for complaint.

2.

A number of bulbs in the side streets lighting have now failed.  It was suggested that coloured stickers be attached to such lamp posts so that the maintenance company can identify them during daylight hours and replace the burnt-out bulbs.

3.

Two quotes have been obtained for stronger, more secure fencing for the swimming pools.  One quote was for strong, metal netting, but this could easily be cut and repairs would be expensive.  It was agreed that we should go for the strongest type of fencing, which is expensive but a much better long-term investment.  Stefan to order this, in green to blend in with the trees and shrubs around the area.

4.

The question of non-payment of community fees was raised and Stefan assured the committee that non-payers could be sued after June (one year from the inauguration of the Community).  Owners wishing to sell their properties have to produce receipts for payment of community fees before a Notary will sign over the deeds to purchasers.

5.

Some swipe cards for entrance to the pool areas are not working.  This may be caused by carrying them in purses or wallets and the magnetic strip being damaged.  Provided you have paid your community fees, anyone experiencing this problem (or losing their card(s)) should contact CARLOS PULIDO, URB. AL ANDALUS 1, No. 417 direct. Telephone 965328562 – Mobile 677211020 - (NOT STEFAN).

6.

Stefan is obtaining quotes for provision of lifeguards at the pools during the summer months.  This is necessary following verbal abuse and threats to committee members during last summer when they approached holiday makers who were ignoring the rules within the pools areas.  A more substantial holder for the pool rules will be provided as the wind has blown down the original boards.

7.

Serious problems are being experienced by residents in the vicinity of Via Park III.  Following the removal/ destruction of the planters which were provided to try to keep the roads clear for residents, Mags will arrange a meeting with those residents and the committee, too discuss the problem and see what can be done.

8.

9.

Building of the clubhouse is almost complete, and once it is handed over the committee will meet on site to evaluate what furnishing/equipment it is required, and how it will be run. The rules and regulations will also have to be agreed.

The question of trees/shrubs in the main road was again raised and Stefan said he will speak Torrevisa (when they have finished what they are currently doing for us) to see if they will help in providing concrete containers.

10.

The AGM will take place in May/June and will be held outside of the clubhouse. John will be being standing down from the committee due to other commitments, but it is happy to help if it required.
